Portland police are investigating a series of tire slashings in the city's West End.

Police received reports of three cars that had their left rear tire slashed in the area of Deering and State streets between 10 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Police suspect other vehicles may also have been damaged and are asking that anyone who experienced the damage or saw anything suspicious to contact police at 874-8479.
