WINTHROP - Winthrop Middle School is closing at 11:15 this morning because there is no water pressure in the building, Sandy Flynn of the superintendent's office announced. Buses will be running for the sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, she said. All other Winthrop schools are still open. If the school does not open Friday, the announcement will be made the same way as weather closings.
