VASSALBORO - The 2008 Forest Ranger Academy graduation ceremony was held today at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro. All nine students, including one Ranger pilot, have worked hard to complete the strenuous 10-week Ranger Academy and will be assigned to the following patrol areas: Passadumkeag, Norridgewock, Jackman, Jefferson, Lee, Greenville, Hay Lake and Topsfield. The last Forest Ranger Academy was held in 2004.
