SKOWHEGAN - Richard Potter, 37, of Skowhegan Road, Fairfield, was arrested Monday afternoon for Somerset County authorities at the Kennebec County jail in Augusta on five counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of gross sexual assault, or rape. He was ordered held on $75,000 worth of property or $25,000 cash. The alleged victim is a girl who was under the age of 14 when the incidents are said to have happened, beginning in 2001 in Fairfield.
