Farmington: Breakfast and talk on energy policy Friday

FARMINGTON - On Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 a.m., the Western Maine Legislative Caucus will host area legislators and John Kerry, director of Maine's Office of Energy Independence and Security, at a free public breakfast forum to talk about energy policy.

The event and meal will be held at the University of Maine Farmington Olsen Student Center' North Dining Hall and the open to the public.

Kerry will be joined by a panel of area legislators to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the region and there will be exhibits from organizations working on local energy issues.


The Western Maine Legislative Caucus is an annual series of public forums on topics of interest to western Maine. Sponsors are Western Mountains Alliance, UMF, Western Maine Community Action, MSAD #9, Mission at the Eastward, Franklin Community Health Network and Greater Franklin Development Corporation.
