PORTLAND $ Chase Huckestein scored on an 8-yard late in the fourth quarter after John Bapst recovered its own fumble as the Crusaders beat the Winthrop Ramblers 21-14 to win the Class C state championship at Fitzpatrick Stadium on Saturday.

Skylar Whaley scored on a 4-yard run after a 41-yard pass from Jordan Conant to Jason Raymond as Winthrop tied the game at 14 late in the third quarter.
