Three more charged in Lebanon burglaries

Three men were arrested Monday and charged with breaking into six Lebanon homes, the York County Sheriff's Office said.

Gregory Scribner, 22, of Sanford; Nicholas Sichra, 19, of Sanford; and Devan Howell, 21, of Lebanon, were each charged with six counts of residential burglary.

The burglaries occurred during the day and no one was at home in the houses when the three broke in through forced entries, said Lt. Gary Fecteau. Sheriff's deputies were able to recover much of the stolen property, which included firearms, electronics, jewelry and other items and was valued at about $10,000.

Fecteau said the two are also believed to be responsible for burglaries in Acton and in Milton, N.H., Monday.

The arrests were unrelated to an earlier arrest of a man from Berwick, who also is charged with burglarizing homes in Lebanon, the sheriff's office said.
