Rachele Burns of Gorham is one of four players who have signed National Letters of Intent to play basketball at the University of Maine.

Joining Burns are Shareka Maner of Spring Hill, Fla., Amber Smith of Ipswich, Mass, and Katelyn Vanderhoff of Liritz, Pa.

Burns is a 5-foot-7 guard who averaged 25 points as a junior.

Maner is a 6-1 forward who averaged 11.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.5 blocks per game.

Smith is a 5-10 guard who has scored over 1,300 points in her career. She averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds as a junior.

Vanderhoff is a 5-9 guard who averaged 10.8 points a game as a junior.
