Franklin log: domestic fight in Farmington

FARMINGTON - Slippery roads following a few hours of snow sent vehicles off the roads in Franklin County Friday, with cars skidding into ditches and trucks unable to make it up hills. Most reports involved property damage and minor injuries but at 2:30 p.m., a crash on Route 27 in New Vineyard reportedly injured two people, according to the county's dispatch center.


IN FARMINGTON, Thursday at 5:22 p.m., a car struck a deer on Lucy Knowles Road; no injuries were reported.

12:36 p.m., the fire department was called to an electrical fire on Lamkin Lane.

9:31 a.m., police, with assistance from the sheriff's office, responded to a report of a domestic fight on Dunham Road.

Wednesday at 7:48 p.m., a motorist struck a deer on Main Street; no injuries were reported.

IN WILTON, Thursday at 11:10 p.m., someone on Village View Road reported people were fighting.

Arrests

IN FARMINGTON, Thursday, Burchard R. Oliver, 48, of Farmington was arrested on a charge of domestic assault.

IN FRANKLIN COUNTY, Kristin Rackliffe, 30, of Strong was arrested by state police on a charge of domestic assault.

IN WILTON, Thursday, Lee C. Gosselin Jr., 33, of Bailey Island was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.
