AUGUSTA -- Almost 130 people were called in this morning for jury selection in a double murder case in Kennebec County Superior Court.

John A. Okie, 22, of Newcastle, is charged with killing a nineteen-year-old former girlfriend on July 10, 2007, and six days later, his father.

As jurors assembled, Okie sat under guard in a small room next to the large courtroom. The trial is set to begin Monday.
