Unity College shows off best projects tomorrow

Unity College will present to the public the best of its student research and creative projects tomorrow, Dec. 10.

The presentations will be reviewed by faculty, staff and community partners and those judged the best will receive awards, including cash prizes of $250.

The art works, multi-media presentations, student portfolios, and scientific presentations will be on display at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts from 8:15 a.m. to noon. Admission is free.

Also, a film about Unity student involvement with Camp Susan Curtis and School Administrative District 3 will be shown for the first time.

"The purpose of the conference is to recognize quality in Unity College student work, and to celebrate excellence," said John Zavodny, associate professor and chair of the Department of Instruction and Advising Services.

8:15 a.m. # Opening remarks (Foyer)
8:30 a.m. # Poster and multi-media judging (First floor banquet room)
9:30 a.m. # Live presentation and audio-visual judging (Auditorium)
9:30 a.m. # Art judging (Art Gallery)
11:00 a.m. # Reception (Foyer)
11:30 a.m. # Award ceremony (Auditorium)
