The Maine Medical Association is hosting a health care listening session from 4-6 p.m. today at the Augusta Civic Center.

The session is part of a nationwide effort by the Obama-Biden transition team to get public input on national health system reform. Ideas from the session will be forwarded to the transition team.

Those who attend are encouraged to share personal stories about their experiences with the health care system.

The forum will be held in the Howard-Arnold rooms in the North Wing of the Augusta Civic Center.
