ROCHESTER, N.H. - A 32-year-old Somersworth, N.H., man was stabbed outside a convenience store while trying to break up a fight.

Police say the victim suffered from a relatively minor stab wound and was taken to the hospital, though he was not admitted.

The man was at a Cumberland Farms in Rochester around 1 a.m. on Tuesday when he stepped between two men arguing. Police say the victim knew one of the men, but not the one who stabbed him. Police are also still looking into what kind of weapon was used.

The suspect fled in a silver BMW toward Lebanon, Maine, and is described as white, about 5-feet 7-inches tall with brown hair.
