Olympian Seth Wescott will unveil the new Sidewinder Snowboardcross Course at Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Wescott, who lives at the base of Sugarloaf, will speak about the course he designed and lead a run through it. An autograph session will follow from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Sidewinder Snowboardcross course is located underneath the SuperQuad and is part of a revamped terrain park scene at Sugarloaf.

In addition to the snowboardcross course, the resort redesigned its superpipe and intermediate park and added a new advanced park, and a new beginner park.
