NASCAR on FOX announcer Dick Berggren and Waterville native Pete Silva will be among the headliners at the 21st Northeast Motorsports Expo and Trade Show, which will be held today and Sunday at the Augusta Civic Center.

Show hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.

Berggren has worked as an announcer and analyst for NASCAR events on ESPN, TNN, TBS and CBS, as well as FOX and the Speed Channel.

He started his announcing career at Arundel Speedway and moved to the Motor Racing Network, where he covered the 1979 Daytona 500.

Silva is a former NASCAR Winston Cup Racing Series regional champion and Late Model division track champion at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in North Carolina and Hickory Motor Speedway in South Carolina.
