Portland police are investigating a series of incidents of graffiti that appeared over the weekend.

Police say the word "fault" appeared spray-painted at six or seven locations on Forest Avenue, Auburn Street and Congress Street. One of the worst vandalized areas was 91 Auburn St. at the Shaw's Plaza where it was painted multiple times, police said.
