ORONO $ Cam Berthiaume and Jordan Caradonna scored third period goals as the Gardiner Area High School beat Orono High School 3-2 in an Eastern Maine Class B boys hockey game at Alfond Arena.

Zoe Fisk scored in the second period to tie it for Gardiner (6-1-0) after Tannar Francis gave Orono a lead earlier in the period. Berthiaume and Caradonna then scored back-to-back goals to start the third to give the Tigers a 3-1 edge. Ben Perry pulled Orono within a goal.

Chris Howe made 20 saves to earn the win. Mike Hersom, Jason Ledoux and Alex Wheelock each had an assist.
