SOUTH PORTLAND -- Broadway westbound is closed between Cash Corner and Lincoln, until at least noon, because of a pesky water main break. The road will be open to eastbound traffic only. Drivers who use this road are asked to take Lincoln Street to Main Street as a detour. A police dispatcher said the city hopes to have the road open and running in both directions by noon.

Because of the break, Greater Portland Christian School is without water and therefore closed today.
