Portland to get daily flights to Nova Scotia cameraicon2.jpg

A twice-daily air service between Portland and Nova Scotia is due to start up in early February.

The Yarmouth International Airport Corp. announced today it has reached an agreement with Starlink Aviation out of Montreal to provide round-trip flights connecting Halifax Stanfield International Airport, the Yarmouth airport and the Portland International Jetport.

Starlink will fly an 18-passenger Jetstream 31 aircraft between Yarmouth, Halifax and Portland in morning and afternoon runs Monday through Friday. Fares will be about $250 for a one-way trip from Halifax and $150 from Yarmouth to Portland.
