GARDINER -- Three new councilors and the mayor will be sworn in at 7 p.m. Wednesday during an inauguration at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Gardiner on Pray Street.
The public is invited to attend.
Voters re-elected Mayor Andrew MacLean and three candidates for the at-large positions on the City Council. They were Kendall Holmes, Robert "Logan" Johnston and George Trask.
MacLean said Maine Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner John Richardson will talk about the riverfront development bond the city recently received.
City Manager Jeff Kobrock and Jason Simcock, the city's director of planning and development, will talk about the city's upcoming construction projects.
"I plan to do a little bit of retrospect of the work the council has done this past year and what we anticipate for the coming year," MacLean said. "All the councilors will have an opportunity to say a few words if they wish."
