A free traveling photo exhibit that explores the effects of climate change on wildlife will be open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the First Parish Church in Portland.
"Irreplaceable: Wildlife in a Warming World" will highlight plant and animal species that reportedly are being threatened by climate change, such as polar bears, wolverines, grizzlies, sugar maples, moose and Canada lynx.
There will also be a slideshow and panel presentation from 1:30 to 4 p.m. featuring Jym St. Pierre, wildlife photographer and Maine director of Restore: The North Woods; Andy Whitman, director of the Natural Capital Initiative at the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences; Tara Thornton, Maine coordinator of the Endangered Species Coalition; and Anne D. (Andy) Burt, environmental justice consultant with the Maine Council of Churches.
First Parish Church is located at 425 Congress St.
