PORTLAND -- Forty-four restaurants from Ogunquit to Ellsworth have signed up to participated in the first RestaurantWeekME.

The event takes place March 1 through March 10. It was organized to provide affordable opportunities for diners and bring attention to Maine restaurants during a slow time of year.

Participating restaurants will offer three-course meals priced at either $20.09, $30.09 or $40.09, depending on the restaurant.

The event is being planned and promoted by gBritt PR, a public relations firm in Portland.
