FAIRFIELD - Police and other emergency officials at about 5:45 p.m. today had responded to a 5-vehicle accident on Norridgewock Road, near Damon's Quik Stop.

No other details were immediately available about the accident, reported just after 5:30 p.m.. Police were reporting multiple injuries.

Damon's formerly was called "Jock's Variety."
