U.S. Sen. Susan Collins is in the area today, visiting businesses in Monmouth and Augusta.

Collins visited Tex Tech Industries in Monmouth this morning.

And she's expected at the grand opening of a major expansion at Kenway Corportation and Maritime Marine this afternoon in Augusta.

The Riverside Drive facility recently doubled in size, to over 40,000 square feet, in the expansion. Kenway makes composites for industry, while Maritime makes boats. Both companies have the same owners.
