LEWISTON - Spencer Teixeira's goal at 2:07 of the third period helped No. 4 St. Dominic to a 3-1 upset of No. 3 Falmouth for the Western Class A championship.

Tuesday at the Colisee, Teixeira beat Falmouth goalie Jay Hurdman at 2:07 of the third to put the Saints (15-6) in their first state championship game since 2004. St. Dominic will face Waterville (20-1-0) at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Colisee in the state title game.

St. Dominic goalie Shayne Curtis made 18 saves, while Hurdman made 26 saves.

Casey Parker also scored two goals for St. Dominic.
