I agree with Andrew - this has been a more severe winter compared to last year. One thing people might not realize is how much oil it takes to heat a school. There was story last week about a district that installed computerized controls for a 6 figure sum, but they were also saving in the high 5 figures just the first year. I think more districts need to be energy efficient as well.report abuseAndrew

My guess is that this school is on automatic delivery. All oil is contracted for in advance. It is hard to believe, but perhaps the private sector actually made a mistake.report abuseMeincrisis
