William Leavenworth of Searsmont, ME If right-wing extremists who duck behind the Bible to perform unnatural acts with Mammon could impeach Clinton for performing natural acts with a female human intern, why shouldn't we old-guard Americans impeach Cheney for treason? He and his oily coterie of Mammon's catamites have gotten us into a two-front war they never had any intention of winning, with no mechanism for maintaining our military strength to cope with possible new fronts. These jackals have done more damage to families and communities in America in 7 years than Marxist-Leninists were able to do in a century. They should be impeached, waterboarded until they confess their crimes against our country, and then publicly hanged and gibbetted, perhaps on a circular gallows around the Washington Monument.
I'm no supporter of Maine's Democratic party. They're just urban liberal corporate-plutocrat wannabes who expect their limousine to be chauffered by a low-paid wetback. But if Michaud can bring impeachment charges against the Bush cabal and make them stick, it's the first indication of a vertebrate presence in Washington in two decades, and I applaud him for it.

And look what has happened since they won congress - absolutely NOTHING! All they have done is play political games by threatening to stop financing the war in Iraq.
