The Blaine House consumes 10,450 gallons of #2 heating oil a year. That is $33,231 wholesale price, we pay for it!!!report abuse

tim1...yea that gas terminal would of been great...
and i'm sure the price per gal..would drop off enough to switch to propane heat in a few roomsreport abuse

MAINERS LIKE WASTING THEIR MONIES ON TAXES AND HIGH OIL PRICES...THATS WHY THEY ALWAYS VOTE DEMOCRATIC...MAINERS OBVIOUSLY DONT SLEEP AT THE HOLIDAY INN!!!!! IT DOESNT TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE OUT, WE MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG HERE IN THIS WELFARE STATE!!!!

Franco - you want to know the main reason no new refineries have been built in the U.S.? Take a look at all of the trouble Maine has given the guy who just wants to build an LNG terminal to bring in liquefied gas.

Endless harassment and regulation. This in the state that gets 80% of it's winter heating from oil....at over $3.00 per gallon.report abuse
