I would like to tell Brunswick Naval Air Station Naval God Bless you all and may our prayers heal you. I attended Chris's (Washington State) services today and Navy you ROCK. I was so overwhelmed when I arrived to see all the Patriot Riders. From FAR away. In honor of my friend Christopher. His fiancee was here from Maine so we all were lucky enough to meet her. I now have come to understand why she was his Fiancee. What a wonderful person she is.And to know the love they shared really is comforting to all of us here.
Just wanted to put my two cents in.
God Bless the Navy.report abuse

You Have to go with your instincts.. not your heart or your mind. read this story and what does it tell you.Know one wants to think of him making this choice. but he did. This choice and other choices that he made will effect my life forever. I am full of sorrow for the family, and I hope they can get through last night , with him arriving home and today. coming to realize the true finallity of this. God Bless this truck driver. He is another person that is hurt by the rippling effects of his choice.report abuse

my apologies for a provoked reaction in advance.. this is a response to 3 ridiculous comments...

ANGELA,
my friends & family are praying for a cure for your seriuos disability, that being your ignorance....

this is a very late response to your comments, but i'm sure it will not matter to you due to the fact that you have most likely moved on to someone else's tradegy in the news, perhaps out of boredome?....

so hopefully in the process of you ignorantly sharing your "RELIABLE knowledge & SOURCES of information" that we all know is completely infallible, maybe you should consider the unnecessary & irreversible damage you have done to the family, friends, and the very large % percent of the navy service men that closely served with him...

its insulting that you think you can justify your diagnosis of the sitution by giving a false condolence to loved ones after nonchallantly making comments like: "a normal, healthy & happy person" would not put himself on a "suicide mission"..and the fact that you think you know these facts because you know people that "know" him (i do love the quotations around that in your comment btw, its almost as if you are doubting your sources, is this another case of he said, she said? ) I really think that you should be more precise about your "evidence" that is supposed to support your "theory"

congrats on justifying your "freedom of speech" please be advised, it doesn't necessarily grant you the right to exercise ignorance....I also feel the need to remind you that, the person's name whom you are freely slandering comes from the same line of service that helped you gain that right of free speech, think about that!report abuse

I was here days ago & this page haunts me, as it broke my heart. I had to come back and see how this was playing out. Thanks be to God for all of the support we are now hearing, God Bless Our Military Men & Women for all they give, for without them we no Longer would have "Freedom of Speech" that this forum allows. The Angelas and Nans have disapeared, Jim has come back to apologize. SDsailor, God Bless YOU and all your Brothers & Sisters! "You may Die with nothing, but if you have brought a rainbow into somebody else's life, your Mission is complete". You have brought the other side of the Country a Rainbow.
