"Investment" is just a euphemism for more state spending. Liberals like lots of spending, but they don't like to call it that.report abuseTim1

We have failed to keep up with the needs of our students, we have failed to compete with community colleges, we have failed to run an efficient school offering a cost-effective education.......so give us millions more and we'll fix it.

Typical of Maine government and quasi-government institutions.

I am not saying it should be all about sports, but sports is a main part of a lot of small successful colleges and universities. Invest in the students instead of the students investing in you.report abuse

This school needs to have Div 2 sports prgram. This would have been the year to do it. This will create a niche as a Maine University. UMO being the only school that is D1 in athletics is an absolute joke and reflects typical Maine.
