We have days for recognition of diseases and it is about time we did this for such a worthy cause.
There are far too many children in this world that are abused in some fashion every single day.
How can we as caring human beings not recognize the need for intervention for the most vulnerable and innocent of lives.report abuse

It is about time we had Child Abuse Prevention Month. It has been a long time coming.
We have days for recognition of diseases and it is about time we did this for such a worthy cause.
There are far too many children in this world that are abused in some fashion every single day.
How can we as caring human beings not recognize the need for intervention for the most vulnerable and innocent of lives.report abuse

The efforts should include replacing the DA's and judges who agree to suspend the sentences of the abusers. Put the abusers in jail and keep them there for the full terms of their sentences instead of continually suspending all but 45 or 60 days of those sentences.report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment.
