Girls'Day? What about Boys'Day? There are now MORE WOMEN in college than MEN (which means soon the women will be occupying more of the top jobs). There are also far more boys dropping out of high school than girls (so the college trend above with continue). Do you think we'll have Affirmative Action for males? Anyone think NOW will support that? Somehow I doubt that NOW or the other feminist groups truly believe in REAL equality!

And stop calling the Maine Women's Policy Center "bipartisan!" Sorry, but it's connected (hand-in-hand) to the WOMEN'S LOBBY. And the Women's Lobby is for abortion at all cost, regardless of the developmental stage of the baby. It believes we women/girls are dumb and can't handle the consequences of our actions. We're too stupid to make better choices (like not to kill or not to have unprotected sex or not to have sex at all) and we're too weak and selfish not to carry our pregnancy to term and give our child up to a loving couple. The lobby also only supports pro-abortion candidates, so to call it "bi-partisan" is a lie. I just love it when the media LIES!

And how about a BOYS' DAY? They seem to be the ones getting left behind these days....they aren't gradutating, aren't going to college and have no say as to whether their growing child lives or dies. She is woman, hear her roar!!!report abuse

"I'm merely stating that we should allow people to do what comes naturally to them, and if they can make more money at it, more power to them."

Great point CJD. Unfortunately, in our victim-centric society, merely making the statement that some people are naturally better at some things than others is tantamount to sexism or racism. Just ask former Harvard President Larry Summers about that one!report abuse

Shelly,

I fear you've been misguided by feminazi statistics. I remember recently seeing a report either on CNN or in USA Today stating that single women in 6 of America's major cities are out-earning their male counterparts. In addition, I've read several articles in regards to male vs female wages int he engineering occupations. Accounting for educational level, quality of education, years of experience, and licensing required, a female engineer typically made 102% of her male counterpart. So, what's your point again?report abuse
