I'm confused, are you suppose to be special if you come from or live in Cape Elizabeth?report abuse

If the parents of these students don't get some backbone and make their kids earn the money to pay for the damage AND take responsibility through community service or just plain cleaning up their mess, then what does that teach them? There are no consequences for their actions. Now, isn't THAT a crime?!report abuse

I'm just glad they don't to Scarborough Schools. I thought Cape was beyond this kind of behavior. If they are in sports they shouldn't be anymore. Did they really think this was a prank? Maybe a few days in jail and they would be able to write a paper about what is a prank and what is a crime.
What about the students that work on Saturdays? This will hurt who they work for too. They have to call in other workers to replace them. Seems the 10 should be there every Saturday for the rest of the year. I'm sure there is plenty of work they could do to help out on the school budget. Work them hard so they never forget what they did and how many people it hurt.report abuse

This whole thing makes me sick. What I can't understand is why the high school has to go to school Saturday while the 10 students are having a 2 week "vacation". I heard that some of the 10 are going skiing. What punishment are they really going to get and will the public ever know what they were handed- probably not.report abuse
