Give them a nice snowy winter and they sure don't waste any time spending those extra revenues do they? I hope they use some Maine contractors and suppliers in this $14 million upgrade. We sure need the business and jobs around here.report abuse

South Ridge to North Peak, what a waste!!! There is already a high speed quad servicing North Peak. This lift will create a major traffic jam as skiers (er, um, snowboarders too lazy to turn their heads) collide near the top of the South Ridge High Speed Quad trying to get to the bottom of the new lift if they decide to ski it all day. A bad intersection is going to get a lot worse.

How about South Ridge to Spruce Peak or even better...Barker to Spruce Peak. Now that would better connect the resort. From Spruce Peak you can ski to the bottom of every lift at the resort. Then Boyne could sell the old Spruce Peak chair to Saddleback, which would be a major upgrade for them!report abuse
