Gary of Waterville, ME Sorry guess I was not clear.. Displacing predators is a bad thing..So it is up to Us humans to take up the slack. Over population is the problem..And yes trappers keep Raccoons, skunks ect population down. disease is spread by over population ..keep population down less cases of disease.. Cats get it from other animals keep other animals healthy lessens the rate of disease. population control through proper management Trapping hunting.report abuse

Now somewhere in the black mining hills of Old Town....
There lived a young boy named Rabid Raccoon.

And one day this raccoon chased a woman into her car, you see.
He said I'm gonna get that woman

So he chased her down the street
Then booked himself a room in the local saloon.

The sheriff had come equipped with a gun
