I wonder how much longer it will take for the citizens of this great state to realize that Corrections and jails are a business.

The inmates that flow into the system keep the facilities clogged, and hence, understaffed. Jails and prisons are filled with upper end staff, and are always short staffed of COs (Corrections Officers) or guards.

The multimillion dollar budget for our prisons and jails is geared at keeping people in jobs. Many of the staff at our prisons and jails are related to each other.

The prisoner is left in a custodial state, simply doing time for the crime, and not offered much in the way of rehab. Wake up citizens. This is a ploy that will hit all of you in the wallet when you least expect it. Keep the prisons as they are, and get rid of the upper crust pork fat, and give a little something back to the workers that are on the battle fields day to day.report abuse

maxamillion - First of all, what you wrote CANNOT be understood whatsoever. When you go to school and learn to write, maybe you should come back here. Until then, why waste your time? That's why no one has commented here. I do believe it is a grade school student typing into this and this is nowhere for such a youngster to be commenting. Makes me wonder where the parents are.report abuse

it gov. g wants to help in the jail problems then why not help the people when they get out. if they will pay for sex offender to live in a place what about while they are in jail, like life skills or something or if they cooked I know it won't look on a job app. just like b.r.a.t (? houseing )if you pass a score in the test you get help.i'll be nice for now that what was told to someone and because he didn't pass their scores. he got no help what does he have to be well you get the hint. they can't see why these people keep coming back while if the gov. willing to pay for them why can't they help him. and if they have classes and seek help and what to feel like a person not trash then they would't go back to their old habbits more and if they go to jail yes make then accountable for what did but, helping them find a job which i know is very hard someone cherring them on that there is a better way then going back to the old ways. there needs for that alot of times x-con need a chance to...report abuse
