Ok so this kid gets this handgun out of his uncles car? How did he know it was there? was the uncle showing it off? How did he get into the car? was it unlocked? My guess is if anything.. the uncle should take a handgun course due to not knowing or failing to properly secure his firearm. I have a concealed carry license.. I do not leave my weapon in the car at the end of the day. All it takes is something like this to happen or someone else uses my car and gets pulled over.. they go to jail for having a concealed weapon in the car.. Also, the uncle never realized what that his weapon was missing? More reason for him to take the course.. Maybe put an idiot cord on his weapon and tie it to himself for a month so he knows where it is at all times. Its really sad if he is law enforcement or prior military. Lucky they found it and it was recovered.report abuseLes

"'Cat of Gardiner, ME I am not sure what reader has against MAINE but I would'nt' live in Boston MASS if my depended on it. I guess I live a safe neighborhood that I can raise my child. I wouldn't raise my child in BOSTON MASS'"
