Sharon,
Take heart. Your gems are stored and accessible for at least a week. Following the daily list on the Opinions and News pages you will find links to prior days content, including your masterful comments.

kidatheart works out of a small office where he spends the bulk of his time monitoring the comment pages. The current administration wants him to continue this critical effort for the sake of our security (and with full immunity from any legal challenge.) kid is standing between us and something terrible. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

On the side, he runs contraband across borders with 007 alacrity. A true American heroine.report abuse

T talk,
"marrying each other but they can't smoke"

Lost your train of thought there, bud - the discussion is about tobacco smoke not excess friction.

Nancy suggests an important consideration; think "heat-loss" next winter. In reality, the fire marshall and housing authorities are likely to be overwhelmed next winter as wood-burning and kitchen stoves take on a large share of the home-heating market.report abuse
