JM-mistaken belief that Nader caused Gore to lose-the race Gore ran caused him to lose. Can you explain otherwise how the favorite son in Tenn lost his own state? Or the state of the sitting President, his boss?
Nader is nothing more than a convenient excuse for Democrats to blame someone other than themselves for the loss.

Did not Gore's unwillingness to continue the process teach the Democrats anything? Evidently not, as Kerry bailed out in Ohio and it was Nader and the Greens who attempted to right the electoral wrongs the Republicans perpetrated.

And Nonny1-the material is there-also you might click on GPUS for the national web stie. A great deal of material there. And you don't have to wonder about what the Greens are all about. If theRepublirats *(that's Greenspeak for DemocRAT and REPUBLIcan are for it, we generally recognize it for what it is, an elitist policy or program against the people. Go figure.report abuse

Don't get me wrong: I probably agree with 90% of the Green program. The problem is, their running a PRESIDENTIAL candidate is COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE. It's not like they're going to take alot of votes from Republicans!report abuse

Cut & Paste to see what the Maine "Greens" want. I personally like the one where Mainers are encouraged to share their homes with others, especially "welfare mothers and their children." Now that's a lot of love:)

Seriously, it's the most vague political webpage I have EVER seen.

They do mention their 10 points but never EXPLAIN them. One is social justice. One is feminism and one is to respect diversity. Wow....I guess people are just supposed to guess where they stand on those issues. See for yourself:

Ooh Ham Steak, your wit is ripe with typical conspiracy diffusion, but oddly defensive of the problem. It probably would be sweet if the facts were not backed up with a glut of proof, but it’s not like it’s not being investigated. Yeah, your right, nothing for you to worry about, this is just the ratings of a conspiracy nut~
