The earlier reports said that they asked for such high bail because he has a record and is from out-of-state, so is a high flight risk. Makes sense to me...plus, his victim is still alive, so who knows if he'd try to go after her again? Good move by DA Lawrence to keep this guy locked up!report abuseSouthbound
