I agree with mainejeff that many of our formerly quiet, peaceful places have been taken away from us by noisy, fast boats of all types. It's already illegal to operate a loud motorcycle. All motorcycles sold in the United States since 1983 must have an Environmental Protection Agency noise compliance label attached to the chassis at the factory and a matching label engraved on the muffler. It's a violation of federal law to attach a muffler lacking the compliance label although you wouldn't know it judging by the many thousands of motorcycles that are in violation.report abuseBucky Dent

Does this ruling mean that the town can also now ban the game wardens that use PWC's on that lake?report abuse
