I lost count how many roadway fatalities i have read in Maine newspapers that have occured on that relatively short stretch of Maine roadway.
Something like 8 fatalities in 7 years? 10,12? Longtime local folks that i have spoke to along that stretch of Route 2 have said they may have been about 25 fatalities in the past 30 years.
Perhaps something law enforcement and parade wtachers can think about while running on that stretch of Route 2....And how something needs to be done.report abuse
