By voting, these prisoners only end up validating the governments supposed pretext of authority to impose its political will upon them.

If any of those inmates are in prison for something like not being in strict compliance with the political will of legislature, they'd be better off not registering or voting, doing so is a display of tacit consent to be governed by organized liars, killers and thieves.report abuse

How disgraceful. They haven't even paid their debt to society and they not only can vote, their vote is sought! I just wonder how the family members of their dead victims or the molested child or the raped woman feels...report abuse
