Do you honestly believe that Realtors are responsible for the real estate frenzy? You believe that people are better off making the biggest investment of their lives on the internet, from people they no nothing about rather than with the help a licensed, trained professional, whose has a stake in the community, a reputation to uphold, and is only successful by giving his clients the best service?
The real estate bubble would have occured regardless of the involvement of Realtors. Despite what you might believe, Realtors do not set the price of real estate, the market does.
But if you really believe that the problems with the real estate market are simply the result of greedy Realtors, then perhaps I can interest you in some prime South Portland "waterfront" real estate. The ground is a bit wet, but there are no leeches or parasites, I promise.report abuse

Wow, Bruce, did you have a bad experience with a Realtor?

They drove this bubble, and swindled buyers into paying above market price, glad to see they are getting their just deserts.
Perhaps now we can see the end of the days of realtors, and make buying and selling a home as easy as ordering a book from Amazon.
Too many leaches and parasites have driven up the cost of home purchase, we need to thin the ranks, just like what happened to the stock broker game.
Pretty soon, all those realtors will have to give up their pin-stripped suits and go back to selling used cars.report abuse

Nothing I like better than to see the arrogant, greedy realtor parasites twist in the wind!
