Nelson Donnell of West Gardiner, ME - it makes sense to me...an illegal drug would warrant more serious charges & a higher bail than a legal one. I think the point here is that the bail was too low considering this coward was threatening a woman with a deadly weapon. I have to agree with Snow on this one, 1K is MUCH too low a "get out of jail" card for this abusive lowlife.report abuse

Snow of Fairtown, ME, this person was high on a drug, that drug being alcohol.

Now if he had been on some unsanctioned drug, the bail and charges would have been different, but because he choose the gateway drug of choice that the body politic has declared acceptable to ingest, his charges and bail was of a lower status.report abuse

His knife was to make up for his lack of manhood. (he likes to beat on girls)

Weapons are only for situations that warrent their use. If anyone is trained on how to use that knife better then he is, then they would take it away and keep it as a prize, while softening him up a little with a fist for the police.report abuse

I'll go out on a limb here...this fine citizen is drunk at 11:00 on a Tuesday night. Something tells me he doesn't get up at 5:30-6:00 AM to go to work (or look for work!)With his knife skills I'm sure he could find employment in the food prep arena or as a butcher or Japanese habachi chef, etc.report abuse
