Refugee is someone that Bob Marley would call a "Dink"!report abuseLinda Webb

Traz - he thinks because he is well acquainted with the Hessert family that makes him some kind of expert on the subject. Bottom line, it sounds like the "Ellen Degeneres" debaucle all over again. The dog was placed in a good foster home, then yanked away because of red tape and meddling busy bodies. Judges often make arbitrary and stupid decisions -- they are not perfect -- but then the public has to live with those decisions, and that's not always easy. My own dog, whom I have been lucky enough to have in my life, is nearly 13. He has witnessed both grown children wander in and out of his life over the years as they came back and forth through high school, college and graduate school (they are on two different coasts finishing their educations). He mopes for days, sitting outside their bedrooms or at the foot of their beds, it's extremely heartbreaking to see. I just wish everyone understood that dogs are far more intellingent and sensitive than one can imagine. Oh well! Good luck in Montana! It's a beautiful state.report abuseTraz

Linda - thank you again! I am not sure how Refugee became an expert on the case, seeing as how he's in MD, the dogs are in Maine and the "alleged" dog abuser is still here in MT!report abuseYou must be a registered user of MaineToday.com to post a comment. Register or log in.
