Emotions run high when dealing with local schools. No one wants to lose control. Administrators cost so much that a reduction should be welcome by taxpayers. I agree that a consolidation with Sad 74 and 13 makes more sense but not enough to stall the progress made so far.report abuse

I can't see many of the consolidation plan working throughout the state. The peole are dealing with this issue is on an emotional level instead of a practical one. People are worried they are going to lose there idenity. Instead were going to losing some administors. Let's get on with it. If you were running a business the size of some of these SAD's you would of went out business along time ago. Schools are still going to have there same school colors, teams etc. I think the state is giving people adequate time to wrap themselves around this issue. When the times come the state should just do it. In five years we will all look back and say why didn't we do this sooner. State taxes payers can't keep paying for all of these administrated cost when it isn't brain surgery.report abuse

I agree. People need to stop putting politics and economics first and do what is right for the Madison-Anson COMMUNITY! By this, I mean the people.report abuse
