Whatever happened to family taking care of "it's own".

I thank God that no one in my family suffers with a mental illness. However, I work 2 jobs to pay for my lifestyle, help my elderly parents and my young nephew.

I love them, they appreciate it and do not ask for help and I feel good about being able to do it. I am glad to do what I do.

However, I really am not interested in taking care of someone else's family. Leave my taxes alone. I do my fair share and probably a whole lot more!report abuse

Never should have gotten funding in the first place. Have them run the State House, they'd do a better job.report abuse

And what do we cut to provide them with the money that they need? DO NOT RAISE TAXES TO DO SO. It's easy for someone from 'away' to come here and tell us what we should do, you know what, stay away and keep it to yourself.report abuse
