Holy crap, reader, come up with something that makes SOME kind of sense. That's just plain stupid. Sure, it's really all about selling papers.Get a grip.
These punks should be on the evening news, the many counts lend credibility to the thought they aren't bored kids.....they are criminals. However, listing their names is here nor there. I'll settle for hearing they went to jail.
Always making with the stupid analogy stories from elsewhere there you, knocking us in Maine.
We've got it under control here without modeling ourselves after others, which seems to be your whole thing. Maybe that's what you should do.....model yourself after people who have something good to say about Maine.report abuse

"Three 17-year old boys from Chesterville, New Sharon and Wilton are expected to be charged through the juvenile justice system in August. It is the policy of the Morning Sentinel not to publish the names of juveniles until they are formally charged in court"

---Several years ago many Massachusetts newspapers ended that policy and started publishing the names of 17 year olds. You see the 17 year olds will likely never become newpaper customers and the people who do buy newspapers wanted to know the names of 17 year old criminals. Thus the customers finally got thier preference.report abuse
