How did the saying go? "IF GUNS ARE OUTLAWED, ONLY OUTLAWS WILL HAVE GUNS"! Hey! Outlaws! Did you get that? The United States Supreme Court says that guns are not outlawed! So, that means you ( THE BAD GUYS, BAD GIRLS ), are not the only ones to have guns! Now! "WHAT YOU GONNA DO WHEN WE COME FOR YOU, BAD BOY, BAD BOY; BAD GIRL, BAD GIRL")! What-ever!report abuse

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

The basic issue for the justices was whether the amendment protects an individual's right to own guns no matter what, or whether that right is somehow tied to service in a state militia.

Oh, please. Read the second amendment your Honorable Justices ~ what is so difficult to understand? Should there have been a semi-colon after state? You've all wasted too much time and energy on this, now get to work.report abuse
